Hello again!

All of us have been very busy working away at Snowblind Studios and I want to give everyone in the community a quick update.

- We’re still making excellent progress on our yet-to-be-announced title. I think (hope!) that everyone will be excited when we make the announcement. Once that happens, we’ll be launching a community site dedicated to the new title which we expect to be fun and informative for everyone in the community.

- Some additional members have joined our community team, some you might hear from in the future and some that may continue to hide in the shadows! Mikel Tidwell has joined us as the community web developer, Steven Walker has joined our team as the community graphic designer, and Wynn Rankin has come on board as the community writer/editor. We’re extremely happy to have them on the team!

- One of the projects that the community team has been working on is the update of the Snowblind Studios site. We’re hoping to launch this next month (February).

- Our plan for the forums hasn’t changed from our last update. We expect to launch an updated version of the Snowblind forums after our product announcement. We’ll provide plenty of warning before we transition to the new forums.

Please let us know if you have any comments or questions. 2010 is going to be a very exciting year for Snowblind Studios and we’re really looking forward to what we have coming for our community in the future!

ohh it sounds good, im excited. i know youre probably not allowed to say Mike but any idea which month we will be hearing the announcement? its like waiting for christmas but not knowing when its coming

Any idea of an announcement date? A 2010 release is going to need some pretty immediate hypage if the game isn't to remain under the average gamer's radar, so I'd expect sooner than later. But then what would be the launch platform? E3 would be the expected venue, but that'd only be 6 months tops of build-up. There's the DICE summit in February, or GDC in March. GDC was great for LBP, so it's not unprecedented.

I see the biggest titles getting lots and lots of hype. There's a direct correlation between marketing dollars and returns. Whatever SB are going to hit us with, WB are well behind on the hypification and they're going to need to blitz the media if the title isn't to be lost amongst the many titles. Especially with motion being the Next Big Thing due out end of the year.

All excellent questions! None of which, unfortunately, we can answer just yet. =)

gotta say, i need some snowblinding and hopefully this is the year for it.

Thank goodness. This pleases me to no end. Im still having loads of fun with Borderlands and Sacred 2, but am very much looking forward to the next snowblind title. Unfortunately, Ill probably be in Iraq when it does release unless it arrives before June this year

Hah, I came back to check this site just on a lark, and I see there's an announcement for a new title, which sounds cool. I haven't been around since the days leading up to CoN, but I could definitely use another CoN like title.

has anyone heard if da3 is being made?
