I love this game!

Unfortunately I was never able to get Baldur's Gate II as ti has been discontinued...

But it may be back in November as a PS2 Greatest Hits release.

Cross fingers and toes!!!!

How is it discontinued for you?
I work at an electonics retail store and we still get copies all the time.

When I was at the store (I live in Canada) and wanted them to get BG2 in they said they couldn't as it had been listed as "discontinued" but would probably make it back in November as a "PS2 Greatest Hits".

:(

I was very sad as it was going to be my birthday present... so I ended up getting Chapions of Norrath...

Baldurs Gate Dark Alliance I & II are some of the best ps2 games I own imo, Ive spent countless hours hacking and slashing my way through them with friends. I liked the mature approach with blood and gore and stuff too. And the first one was really gorgeous when it arrived years ago. Oh how badly I want a sequel with "next-gen" graphics and a deeper fighting system

Any of you guys played these two games, would you be pumped for a new game on the ps3? multiplatform or not Shrugs

I just bought a used copy of BGDA for the Xbox and have been playing it on the 360. I haven't played since I bought it when it went greatest hits for the PS2 like 6 or 7 years ago. I actually haven't had much trouble with it lagging after the first level and when it does happen the "slow motion" effects are pretty cool :D. I already got my 8 year old sister hooked on it, although the skimpy outfits and jiggly boobs are a little awkward and inappropriate when I'm not playing with it my male friends.
