Their 'first' game (at least the first big-name success) was Baldurs Gate Dark Alliance, and you're waiting for a sequel to JLH is nothing compared to those waiting for a new and improved fantasy action experience in that same vein! There's considerable chance that SB's next game won't be Justice Leagues related. And we're not likely to hear anything about their next game until Spring.

We know it's fantasy, and I couldn't be more happier about that. I remember someone from the penguins say "The game has swords and monsters". Sounds like a sequel to NES dungeon crawler Swords & Serpents

JLH had swords and monsters though, as do lots of non-fantasy games. I'd peg on it being fantasy (wayhay!!!!) but it's not an absolute certainty just on that remark.

Any word on a sequel yet? Activision announced the sequel for MUA 2.

Have you seen the front artwork for their upcoming game? It doesn't look JLH to me... Any announcement of a JLH sequel will likely be a long time after the announcement of their next title, which is taking it's sweet time to get announced! So in short, don't even look for or expect a sequel. Wait a couple of years and it might appear as a nice surprise, maybe before then. But waiting hopefully for it will jut drag out, much like us waiting for a CON successor!

My wife and I have played through JLH 3 times, and we loved it every time. We're really hoping the Snowblind makes a sequel sometime in the near future so we can get our greedy little paws all over it. We enjoyed this game much more than Marvel Ultimate Alliance as a matter of fact, even though we're more into the Marvel Comic universe than DC. There was just something special about JLH, and we are big enough fans of the game that we might buy a next generation system just so we could play the JLH sequel.

I joined today to see if there was a sequel in development...and I guess the answer is a big "could be, but..."

Ah well...we can only hope it comes relatively soon. (Like before the next next-gen consoles, maybe?)

Well, when (hopefully not if) a JLH sequel comes out, I'd like to see the following changes:

  • Boosts automatically arranged by type and then level, or the ability to auto-sort the boosts.
  • The ability to direct the bots, not just change their AI. (Tell them to stay, guard, etc. They annoy me when they attack the mob generators and not all of the xp giving mobs have been created yet.)

There's other things that I'd like as well, but they've already been said by others.

I agree that you guys should make some kind of sequel to this game for the PS3 and Xbox 360!! I think a lot of people would be happy if you did! Also, here are some suggestions that, in my opinion, would make this game a sold 10/10.

- More characters. At least 30 characters would satisfy a lot of people. Also, every character could have at least 2 alternative costumes?

-More powers. There were an OK amount of powers in JLH, but I think there could have been more. More upgrades too. And I think it would be cool if some of the alternative costumes could give that certain character different abilities. For example, normal Aquaman would have all of the water attacks; Hook-hand Aquaman would have some of those water abilities plus hook abilities (shooting it out and grabbing someone, Scorpion style).

-More open environments. And what I mean by this is make it more like a sand box game. In my opinion, the levels in JLH were way too linear for my tastes.

-Add something more unique. I'll just give you an example of what I mean. Maybe you can add in character-unique-abilities that are triggered in certain levels. For example, maybe there is a level where the characters are walking over a bridge and on the left and right side is water. There are multiple enemies heading towards them and there is an Aquaman icon at the beginning of the bridge. If you happen to have Aquaman on your team, you can put him on that icon, push a button and he could command sharks or something to jump out and grab the enemies as they go back into the water on the other side. Just an idea.

- 3-4 player co-op. online and offline. Now this would mean that you would have to make it so that you can have up to 3 or 4 characters to play with, which would make it more like Marvel Ultimate Alliance, but that really isnt a bad thing. And if they give you crap for it, you could just make it 3 characters instead of 4 right?

It's a shame that we still haven't gotten a sequel to this. Justice League Heroes is still one of my favorite Superhero game and I still play it plenty of times on my PSP.

Looks like I have to stick to the upcoming MMO for my DC hero fix, though I have to create my own hero.
